English and psychology B.A.; Elementary Education M. Ed., University of Minnesota- Twin Cities.
This is my third year teaching kindergarten at Noble, and I'm excited to start working with my new class! Before starting here, I taught English to elementary students in Daegu, South Korea, and worked as a substitute teacher in Minneapolis and St. Paul. I also worked as a K-3 Literacy Tutor for the Minnesota Reading Corps for a year after college.
Reason for becoming a Teacher:
I became a teacher because I've always enjoyed helping people learn and explore new things. I love working in kindergarten and seeing how kids develop as they experience school for the first time. My favorite part of teaching is seeing the pride and excitement students get when they finally understand a challenging new topic.
Interesting Facts and Hobbies:
I love traveling and getting to experience new places. I like reading, yoga, cooking, soccer, and painting, but most of my spare time is currently taken up by my dog, Greta!
