Carissa Jobe

I received my Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire, where I majored in Elementary Education and minored in English.

This is my second year teaching 4th grade at Noble Academy. Through my schooling I had the wonderful experiences of teaching 2nd grade and 7th grade as a student teacher. I also had practicum experience teaching 1st and 5th grade. I worked at Family Literacy in Eau Claire, WI for four years while attending college, where I cared for and taught literacy lessons to children while their parents were taking classes to learn English and/or obtain their GED.

Reason for becoming a Teacher:

I have always been intrigued by what makes people different from one another, and it is a passion of mine to use each individual’s differences to help them achieve their biggest dreams. I absolutely love being around children and I cannot wait to help every one of my students reach their goals!

Interesting Facts and Hobbies:

I am very close with my family and enjoy every minute I get to spend with them. I enjoy being active outside all year around, whether it is biking around the beautiful Minnesota lakes in the summer or skiing down the snowy slopes in the winter. I also love when I get the chance to do some creative writing and crafting in my free time.
