Chang Thao


I went to school at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and graduated in 2012 with my BSE in K-12 Physical Education.


Throughout my college career, I worked as an Educator Assistant at Hmong American Peace Academy in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  At HAPA, I worked alongside the PE teacher and I coached their recreational flag football team.

Reason for becoming a Teacher:

I enjoy working with students of all ages; it is very gratifying to see growth and enlightenment in my students as they learn.  I really want to promote a healthy and active lifestyle that fits every single student’s needs.

Interesting Facts and Hobbies:

I enjoy playing sports or simply being active.  I also really like watching movies and playing video games when I have time.  I love spending time with my wife and daughter.
