I got my Bachelors of Professional Studies at Nyack College focusing on Organizational Management. I am in my final year of the Masters of Professional Studies Nyack Alliance Theological Seminary. I am in the Church Development track.
Years after of working in management and production for several of years my felt that there was a different calling for me. I always had a passion working with children. I have always had a soft spot for kids. Having a child of my own gave me a different perspective in life. I needed to be a larger part in her education. I enjoyed teaching children’s Sunday school and being someone who children to run to when they need a safe place from the chaotic world. I have also been involved in distributing weekend meals to children with the Sheridan Story.
Reason for becoming a Teacher:
As a father, I learned that I am the most important teacher to my child. I turned my life around to become a better role model for my family. It is important to display to children a healthy and positive atmosphere, hoping that they will make the right choices in life. I want to help children learn understand that they can make a difference in the world. No matter their size.
Interesting Facts and Hobbies:
I like to be active playing sports and spending time with family. I enjoy watching movies and playing board games. I am a fantasy football fanatic and also cheer for the Green Bay Packers. Living in New York for a few years showed me the importance of family and connecting in a diverse society. I am proud to be a follower of Christ and live each day trying to make the world better.
