Christianna Mullins, M.A., CCC-SLP attended the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities for both her undergraduate and graduate careers. She studied Speech-Language-Hearing Sciences, Spanish, and Teaching English as a Second Language for her Bachelor’s Degree. She then earned her Master’s Degree for Speech-Language Pathology with an emphasis on Bilingual and Multicultural Issues. Christianna completed the requirements for her Certificate of Clinical Competence through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association to earn her full credentials as a speech-language pathologist.
Christianna has a variety of experience working in charter schools and schools in larger districts, from the pre-school to the high school level, as a speech-language pathologist. She has worked with interpreters across settings as well.
Reason for becoming a Teacher:
Christianna loves to work one-on-one with students, supporting them in their communication needs. Christianna is passionate about serving children from a variety of cultural and linguistic backgrounds and has a special interest in differentiating between issues that arise from learning English as a Second Language and speech/language impairments.
Interesting Facts and Hobbies:
When Christianna is not serving students as a speech-language pathologist, she loves to spend time with her husband, her cats, family, and friends. Christianna loves to play piano, go for walks, garden and do ballroom dance.
