I have always had a passion for learning and traveling and my college path and experiences reflect that. During undergrad, I attended Hawaii Pacific University, University of Missouri and University of Minnesota Twin Cities where I earned a BA in Communications. I found my passion for working with kids and decided to pursue a MA in Elementary Education from Hamline University. I graduated from Hamline last spring and this summer I started an Educational Doctorate program at the University of Northern Colorado.
This is my second year teaching at Noble Academy as a third grade teacher. Other experience working with kids varies from coaching little league teams, volunteering in afterschool programs, tutoring, student teaching in second grade, working as a childcare provider and last year working as a preschool teacher.
Reason for becoming a Teacher:
I have a strong passion for learning and furthering my education as well as helping students achieve their academic goals. Seeing students grow and discover their abilities is something that makes this job SO worth it. Every child is capable of great things!
Interesting Facts and Hobbies:
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family between Montana, and Maryland. I love being outdoors, playing with my German Shepherd Apollo, traveling and trying new restaurants, watching my weekly shows, reading, running and finding time to spend with family and my loved ones.
