I attended the University of St. Thomas where I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education along with a BA in Family Studies.
Throughout my time in college, I had the opportunity to be in many different classrooms. I worked with fifth grade, 1st grade and kindergarten. After I graduated, I spent a year doing two different long term substitute positions both in first grade classrooms.
Reason for becoming a Teacher:
I have always known I would become a teacher. Growing up, I was always babysitting and pretending to be a teacher to younger cousins and neighborhood kids. My passion for working with children has only grown since I started working in the classroom. I love growing and developing alongside my students. Each and every student has a special place in my heart.
Interesting Facts and Hobbies:
When I’m not working, you can usually find me spending time with my family and my 2 dogs. I love to watch hockey with my dad and shop with my mom. Heading up north on the weekends is one of my favorite things to do with my family.
