I went to St. Olaf College for my undergraduate and got my B.A. in Political Science and Asian Studies with a concentration in Japanese Studies. Then I went to Hamline University for my graduate and got my Masters of Arts in Teaching
This will be my second year teaching Hmong literacy and culture at Noble Academy. Before I came to Noble Academy, I spent two years at New Millennium Academy as a paraprofessional in special education and Title I. I have also worked one year as a K-3 Literacy Tutor for Minnesota Reading Corps.
Reason for becoming a Teacher: I became a teacher because I enjoy being around kids, working with them, and watching them grow. I am a father of three boys. I enjoy playing tennis, watching animes, and reading mangas.
