I grew up in Brooklyn Center and Maple Grove. I attended private school until I started at Park Center Senior High School. After high school I graduated from North Hennepin Community College with my A.A. in Liberal Arts and transferred to Concordia University of St. Paul. I graduated at CSP with a Bachelors of Arts in Elementary Education.

I taught in Saint Cloud School district for one year prior to Noble Academy. I taught 5th grade at Madison Elementary School and am so excited to teach the same grade here at Noble Academy.

Reason for becoming a Teacher:

I love having the opportunity to connect with students! I feel privileged to be able to learn from students each day while I am teaching them ! I grew up with my Grandmother and Aunt who were teachers. I even got to have my Grandma as a teacher one year! My Grandma still sees people today that she taught or taught with and it brings a smile to her face each time. I cannot wait for that down the road. The moment I look forward to most is when students are able to thrive and teach others what they have learned.

Interesting Facts and Hobbies:

I have two dogs, Pomeranian named Sadie and an Australian Shepherd named Luna. Sadie is a 6 year old dog we found on the side of the road two years ago and rescued. Luna is a 6 month old puppy who is always full of energy and love!

I have been married to my husband since August of 2015. I’m proud to say my husband is an Army Veteran, so while he is home we enjoy traveling, biking, and relaxing whenever we get an opportunity.
