I attended North Dakota State University where I was able to take advantage of a unique dual degree program. Therefore, I have a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Science from North Dakota State University, and a Bachelor of Science in 1-6 Elementary Education from Valley City State University.
This is my second year teaching 4th grade at Noble Academy and I couldn’t be more excited. I’ve also have experience teaching 3rd grade, 5th grade, and Title 1 Reading though opportunities in college. I also occasionally teach community education classes in Minneapolis.
Reason for becoming a Teacher:
Ever since I was a child, I have always known that I wanted to be a teacher. So when it came time to choose a career path, the only option for me was Education. My favorite part of working with students is building relationships and fostering a safe and fun community within my classroom!
Interesting Facts and Hobbies:
I grew up in Minneapolis, MN, so moving back has been a blast. I am the youngest of three siblings, therefore have a lot of nieces and nephews that I love spending time with any chance I get. I enjoy spending time with my friends and other family as well, while continuing to explore the beautiful city and what it has to offer.
